Think out of the box!

Although most of us assume that a table is a table, it really isn't.  In Feng Shui glass
is actually a water element. Glass provides movement which is great for windows
and to create a flow or openness that might be needed. However, it is also perceived
as delicate, fragile, don't touch- glass cuts. Display cases with glass will say don't
touch and don't purchase and that hurts profits when it's not fragile.

However, in my example below a clear glass top will have a hard time offering you
the same stability and support that  a wooden table can, especially when eating and
digesting your food.  In fact, notice how people will automatically put a place mat
under their plate when they eat off a glass table. These folks are listening to their
instincts, however, in the long run you would best be served and others if your table
was of wood or of a stone surface, for everyone's  health and peace of mind.
