The Bagua is one of many tools used in Feng Shui and acts as a ‘map’ which
correspond with the major areas in life – career, relationships, prosperity, fame
and reputation, creativity, health, knowledge, and helpful people. The Bagua
Map is divided into nine sections with eight of these areas manifesting as
different energies (the center being the Tai Chi). Whatever is going on in one or
more of these spaces, or ‘guas’, that is not in harmony, will affect you. Whatever
is going on with you that is not in harmony, will show up in one or more of these
areas, because our home or working space is a reflection of ourselves and
where we are at – at that particular time in our lives. It is a mirror of ourselves,
and our home can affect us as much as we can affect it. The Bagua Map can
offer a better understanding of where we are at and where we would like to be.
Each area of the Bagua has many associations; however, the basic Bagua Map
(shown below), illustrate just a few associations for each gua. Minimize clutter
and organize as much as possible. This alone can bring changes to the your life.
